Hundred of clinics share their thoughts.
Claremont Vet Surgery, TAS Kathryn, Vet Nurse
The Velfast® E-collars are really convenient. They get on and off quite easily. I also like the soft edge on the neckline. The Velcro is strong, making the E-collar re-usable, compared to a clickable E-collar, less sturdy. They look nice too.
STRAP BAND - Bandages
Vet Love Goonellabah, NSW

I like the fact Genia bandages are long. They're also easier to use and wrap around.

PERFUVET® TWIST - Tangle Free IV Set Device

The Perfuvet® Twist is brilliant! We used it last time for a little dog who was sick, and he didn't get tangled in the cage.

GREENCOL® E-COLLARS
Ulverstone Vet Clinic, TAS
Shanna, Practice Manager
The Greencol® E-collars are cheaper than Buster. We also like the fact we can hang them on the same hook, and pull the one we need without taking off the others ones, thanks to the opened hole.

Ella, Practice Manager
All our vets use the Monofil 3/0 absorbable suture cassette and are really happy with it.

The flexible tip helps with difficult patients running away.

COSYPOP® - Supportive Bed
Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre, QLD
Dr Kate, Veterinarian
The Cosypop® has been a hit with the team. It's extremely useful for patients with poor bladder control, to help drain away moisture and avoid urine scalding. The soft cushioning in the base is also very comfortable for our non-ambulatory patients, and the raised edges allow us to easily keep their head elevated. It's super simple to clean, and fits perfectly in a standard size cage. We often reach for it if we have patients with tick paralysis, a neurological disorder, or just any animal that needs a particularly comfy spot that feels like a more homely dog bed.

Torquay Animal House, VIC
Ann, Practice Manager & Nurse
We use the cooling vest for overheating patients. It works perfectly as it provides the right cooling amount for the animal.

PERFUVET® MICRO - IV Set
Garden Cities Vet Clinic, WA
Dr Simon, Veterinarian
I like the Perfuvet® Micro giving set because we don't have any IV pump. It is lovely to have some degree of metered control of the flow rate. We do make sure to hang the i/v bag as high as possible to maximise the accuracy. Works well in small to medium dogs and cats.

DRYSOFT® - Puppy Pads
Advanced Vetcare, VIC
Greta, Practice Manager
Genia puppy pads are really good, we never had any leak with, as they are highly absorbent. We like the fact they come in pack of 25.

Murray Bridge Vet Clinic, SA
Kirstie, Vet Nurse
Our border collie puppy Nova loves the high bounce and compact size of the urchin toy. Especially when there's food stuffed in it.

ANIPLAST® HYDRO & SPONGI - Wound Dressings
Denistone Veterinary Surgery, NSW
Dr William, Veterinarian
I have used Aniplast® Hydro and Spongi wound dressings in several patients with extensive wounds with great results. One dog in particular had severe dog fight injuries to both forelegs and I felt it was likely he would require amputation of one leg and have reduced function of the other. With the use of Hydro and Spongi dressings his wounds healed and the dog is now fully recovered and running around normally without any lameness. I was amazed at the dog’s ability to heal these wounds when they were protected by these dressings and feel that the result would have been quite different without them.

Maribyrnong Vet Clinic, VIC
Jacqueline, Practice Manager
I like the fact we can cut the soft splint rolls to shape and mold them.

Caroline Springs Vet Hospital, VIC
Judy, Practice Manager
All of us at the clinic love al of the Genia products - especially our positioning beds that you remove the air from. They are perfect for the Radiography room and Operating table.

Swanbourne Veterinary Centre, WA
Kylie, Head Nurse
We like using the Monofil, Glycofil® and Filamid suture materials because they are easy to use, clear on sizing on the pack, well priced and have a longer shelf life than most alternatives. They also come with a convenient weighted rack which makes them easy to access for the vets.
Lindisfarne Vet Clinic, TAS
Dr Sam, Practice Owner & Vet BVSc
I ended up giving the dental toy to my dog Tilly and given she normally destroys toys in record time, it’s amazing the dental toy is still intact.

Narwee Vet Hospital, NSW
Dr Ayman, Practice Owner & Veterinarian
Dispoject® Needles are of high quality, not easy to bend, sharp (they are less painful, and they do less damage to veins) and securely attached to the plastic hub. They have NO visible needle puncture marks on the skin. With a translucent hub, Dispoject® Needles you can see the blood when it is still in the needle hub. Needle hubs are colour coded by gauge makes it easier to distinguish various gauges.

We recently started using the Aniplast® Hydro dressing and found them to be very absorbent and we were very happy with how the wounds looked. They stayed very well attached with minimal movement.
VACUUMAT - Positioning Mat
Ulysses Vet Clinic, QLD
De Demian, Practice Owner & Veterinarian
We recently purchased two of the Vacuumat® for our busy small animal practice. They have been an instant hit with all the nurses and the vets. They are fantastic for holding patients in position (especially the awkward deep chested breeds) and are extremely easy to use and keep clean. I would highly recommend them. In fact I've just ordered some more!

COSYPAD®- Versatile Mat
Supervets, QLD
Dr Anthony, Practice co-owner & Senior Veterinarian
As a veterinary nurse for 12 years before a practicing vet, I can thoroughly appreciate the sheer amount of cleaning, washing and disinfecting required in day to day operations of a hospital. We want out patients to be comfortable and warm and are always looking to improve hospital care and efficiencies when dealing with bodily excrements. When Génia introduced their new Cosypad® we trialed them, and within weeks filled every cage in 2 24hr hospitals with them as routine. Now every patient has a comfortable non slip bed which keeps them off cold surfaces and prevents urine scalding. Being hygienically washable means we have drastically reduced our use of towels and the costs of washing as a consequence. We have also found them particularly useful as a non-slip surface in consult and prep benches, and routinely use them as the resting surface for patient heads during dental procedures, with pee pads underneath keeping their face far cleaner. Very useful in the car too ! We absolutely love them! :)

PERFUVET® MICRO - IV Set
Balwyn Veterinary Surgery, VIC
Dr Amanda, Practice Owner & Veterinarian
We love this product. We can use it for small animals but we mainly use these for CRI’s (Constant Rate Infusions) when delivering such medications as methadone for pain relief.

Figtree Veterinary Clinic, NSW
Jana, Practice Manager
The Bitter Band is great for stopping patients licking their bandage. The handy starting strip makes it easy to find the beginning of the bandage to unroll.

The Animal Hospital Kalgoorie, WA
Marge, Practice Manager
We like the colourful Genia E-collars. They are quite sturdy and last really well.

EVERVET Prahan, VIC
Gemma, Vet Nurse
Thomas loved the dental toy! I was worried it was too big for him but he really tries to chomp down on it to get the food inside. I also really love how easy it is to clean and that it is dishwasher safe. We have ordered one in as they will be great for pets as owners go back to work - Thomas was entertained for almost two hours, including while we were having dinner which never happens usually.

DIGIFLASH® - Thermometers
Companion Animal Hospital, NSW
Danny, Practice Manager
Allows us to use time effectively ! Less discomfort for animals and quicker procedure time, up to date nursing practice.

Bayside Animal Hospital, NSW
Naomi, Head Nurse
In regards to the cooling jacket, it's awesome to know I have something I can use on my dogs whether it's just a hot day, or if they've been out running around earlier in the day and they're finding it hard to cool down afterwards. I quickly soak it with water and wring it out which I find easier to do than with other jackets I've tried. Because of the velcro I can adjust it easily to fit quite snug against my dog's chest, and it's nice and lightweight so they don't seem bothered by it. The jacket stays damp for hours but I find my dogs cool down generally within the hour and are ready to keep zooming.

DRYSOFT® - Puppy Pads
Success Vet Hospital, WA
Brie, Practice Manager
The Drysoft® are very absorbent;
good quality.

Emergency Vets 247, QLD

The poop bag dispenser is very ergonomic and portable - I like that it is soft rather than rigid, and also enjoy the dispensing design.

The Barnyard Vet, TAS
Roz, Practice Owner
The Vacuumat® is easy! You don't need to worry to roll a towel, you just need to mold it around the patient, and you're good to go!

Alana, Practice Manager
The Neocol® is a great owner compliance. Love the soft padding to protect furniture and shins. Colour coding makes for easy identification.

Greencross Vets Armadale, WA
Venessa, Practice Manager
Genia urinary catheters are so easy to use ! They go through really well. They have as well a wide size reference, to fit them all! Cat catheters: We like the fact we can easily stitch the base in. Dog catheters: They are durable. They're nice and sturdy, without being too stiff.

Bunbury Vet Clinic, WA
Amanda, Head Nurse
Genia bandages are easy to rip. We like as well the little marker to find the edge; it's a big help!

COSYPAD® - Versatile Mat
Reynella Vet Clinic, SA
Megan, Vet Nurse
We have been using Cosypad® during our dental procedures and ear flushes for the last year or so. They help to keep our patients dry. They are really easy to wash, straight into the washing machine with our other items and they dry very quickly.

PERFUVET® DUO - IV Set

Better quality than our previous product. Not pulling apart at connection for portals. 2 portals as compared to some other giving set.

STRAP® BAND - Bandages
Southern Animal Health, VIC
Stephanie, Vet Nurse
Genia Strap Band are easy to use as they rip straight!

Murray Bridge Vet Clinic, SA
Kirstie, Vet Nurse
Our puppy loves the Vetopop® Boucing Ball. She's often nawing on it or just carrying it around. It's the only ball she will actually go fetch (won't bring it back though!). Definitely one of her favourites and is still in perfect condition despite her needle sharp teeth (she's only 16 weeks old).

PERFUVET® MICRO - IV Set
Swanbourne Vet Centre, WA
Kylie, Head Nurse
We started using the Perfuvet® Micro giving sets for patients undergoing routine surgeries as they are accurate and cheaper than the giving sets that work go with our fluid pump.

UROLENE® CAT - Urinary Catheters
Ryde Veterinary Clinic, NSW
Jenny, Vet Director
I highly recommend the Urolene® catheter. It makes unblocking cats much less stressful. The hub also has a rotating collar and is more comfortable for the patient. The stylet also allow easier catheterisation without traumatising the urethra excessively.

VACUUMAT® - Positioning Mat
Tea Tree Gully Vet Hospital, SA
Tascha, Senior Vet Nurse
We have received the Vacuumat® and been using it for a couple of weeks now. We love it as it not only keeps our patient well insulated and helps prevent hypothermia but also is great with positioning for dental radiographs.

COSYPOP® - Supportive Bed
Rosebud Pet Vet, VIC
Robyn, Practice Owner
Our patient Daisy enjoyed the Cosypop. She couldn’t wait to get into it. She was in hospital and the bed helped to keep her clean and dry and, as you can see, very comfortable!

DOPPLER VET BP - Non-invasive Method
Exotic Vet Nurse Training, WA
Samantha Clutterbuck, Owner
For reptiles, I’ve recently discovered these dopplers with pencil probes from Genia Australia that are amazing. The pencil probe can be used in place of a regular small square probe but I find it’s especially helpful when looking for chelonian (turtle and tortoise) heart sounds. The best place to find these heart sounds is generally the left thoracic inlet, but if you’ve ever tried this yourself, you’ll know it can be quite deep, and require pushing your fingers onto the little square probe quite firmly to hear it

Mr Gravatt Veterinary Clinic, QLD
Renee, Vet Nurse
I have absolutely been loving the new Carbon Tech heat matts! Both sizes have been working really well in keeping all our patients warm under anaesthetic aswell as keeping them comfortable after procedures 😊 The waterproof material and fast warming has been perfect for our daily surgery and hospital patients.
